Absolutely! We understand that windy weather can be disappointing. To ensure you have a great experience, we kindly suggest checking the weather forecast online before making the trip. If the weather appears unfavorable, don’t hesitate to give us a call. Our team will keep you informed if conditions are not suitable, so you can plan accordingly and avoid any inconvenience. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities!

"How do we get there?"

There are a few options available for reaching our location.

Option 1: Green Bus

You can conveniently take the Green Bus, which departs from Corfu. For more detailed route information, please visit: Link to Green Bus Routes.

Option 2: Taxi Booking

Alternatively, you can book a taxi for a hassle-free journey. Simply visit: Link to Corfu Taxi Service to make your reservation.

Option 3: Walking

While walking is an option, we recommend starting your journey a day in advance! 🤣😂 Our location might be a bit of a trek, but we promise the other options are much more efficient!

"So, we have just arrived! where do we park?"

There is a spacious parking area conveniently located just 50 meters from our location. There is also a private parking and the fee is only 5 euros for the entire day. Park your vehicle with ease and enjoy your time with us without any worries about parking!

"What if the weather does not allow us to take the boat?"

We understand that plans may need to be adjusted. If we can accommodate date changes, we’ll do our best to make it happen! However, if changing the dates isn’t feasible either on our end or your end, don’t worry. We’ve got your back!

In such cases, we’ll promptly return your deposit without any questions asked within the next 7 days. For multi-day reservations, the refund will be processed on a day-by-day basis. For instance, if you booked 3 days, and one day was affected by bad weather, we’ll refund you for that specific day. The other days remain reserved for you as scheduled.

Rest assured, we prioritize your satisfaction and aim to offer the most flexible and fair policies to ensure you have a memorable and enjoyable experience with us!

Refunds and cancellations are accepted only for bad weather. Reasons to not issue refund are everything else!

In case of cancellation, we MUST have the correct email and phone number with country code. This will help us locate your reservation and make things easier for both sides.

You may cancel your reservation up to 30 days earlier. Cancelling after this limit your deposit is not refunded.

"What if the weather changes?"

At Alipa Boats, your safety and happiness are our top priorities. To ensure your peace of mind, we conduct regular patrols along the coast, keeping a watchful eye on your journey. This proactive approach allows us to promptly attend to any unforeseen problems you may encounter during your boating experience.

If the wind picks up or you encounter any issues, rest assured that we will swiftly locate you and provide assistance. Our dedicated team will accompany you safely back to Alipa Beach, ensuring your comfort and security throughout the trip.

With us, you can relax and enjoy your time on the water, knowing that our vigilant support is just a call away. Your satisfaction and well-being are of utmost importance to us!

"Can I rent out a speedboat?"

Please note that any boat with an engine power exceeding 30hp requires a valid speedboat license. Ensuring compliance with this regulation is essential for the safety and proper handling of high-powered boats. If you plan to rent a boat with an engine capacity above 30hp, kindly ensure that you possess the necessary speedboat license to enjoy a smooth and worry-free experience on the water. Your safety is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding and adherence to these guidelines.

"What if we have never hired a boat before?"

Before you embark on your boat rental, you’ll receive a brief yet comprehensive induction training conducted by one of our experienced staff members. This valuable session will cover essential aspects of boat operation, mooring, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

We kindly urge you to pay close attention during this crucial “teaching” time. Neglecting the instructions could lead to unfortunate consequences, resulting in damage to the boat or its engine, leading to an unpleasant experience and additional repair charges that are paid on site.

Please be aware that insurance provided only covers 3rd party accidents. Any damages caused by you to our boat or engine are not covered by insurance.

"How do I book a boat?"

Exclusively, all bookings are handled online through our website. You have the flexibility to make payments using either Paypal or a credit card. To ensure a smooth transaction, please ensure you have a stable internet connection as redirection to the payment gateway may be disrupted otherwise.

In the rare event of a payment failure, do not worry. Just reach out to us immediately via email at info@alipaboats.com, and we will promptly assist you in securing your booking. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to provide the support you need.

"How about the fuel? How is it paid? How much should I expect to pay?"

Fuel has been a concern for many, but not with us! We’ve got you covered. At the end of your day, we’ll take the hassle out of fuel calculations. Together, we’ll measure the exact fuel consumption, and you will only pay for what you’ve used!

Please note that fuel payments are to be made in cash as we do not sell fuel to maximize our earnings. Hence, kindly remember that “Fuel is paid in cash.”

Rest assured, we offer fair pricing. The fuel cost is the same as the fuel price at the Doukades Local BP Station, plus a nominal 10 cents extra for transportation.

Over the last 3 years, based on our boat usage, the average fuel consumption has ranged from 10 to 25 litres for the entire day. This estimate applies to driving at a normal speed.

With us, you’ll have a worry-free and transparent experience when it comes to fuel expenses!

"How many people can use the boat?"

Our versatile boats can accommodate a range of group sizes, from two to eight people, depending on the boat’s specifications. Whether you’re planning a solo adventure or enjoying the company of family and friends, we have the perfect boat to suit your needs. So, gather your crew, and let’s set sail for an incredible experience on the water!

"How long can we hire the boat for?"

Our boats are available for booking from 09:30 to 16:30. We advise arriving promptly to maximize your day and enjoy the full available time on the water. Embrace the opportunity to make lasting memories and savor every moment of your boating adventure!

"Are there any restrictions as to who captains a boat?"

For boat rentals, individuals aged 18 and above are eligible to captain a boat. However, it is strictly prohibited to consume alcohol while operating the boat. Your safety and the safety of others are paramount, and adhering to this rule is crucial to ensure a secure and enjoyable boating experience for everyone. Please enjoy your time on the water responsibly, and we’re here to support you in having a fantastic and safe voyage!
